Dear 2010...HELLO 2011!!!

Dear 2010: Wow, you were one crazy, full and fast year complete with lots of chaos and many blessings! I have laughed more, smiled more, and enjoyed you and your many challenges that you presented to me in 2010! You have been one of the very best years of my life! Full of many changes, my wonderful husband, my amazing little boy and the wonderful old and new friends you have brought into my life! I am unbelievably thankful to stay home (and work..sometimes;) with my little man and experience all of the little things that make life precious, fun, interesting! I have a very full life complete with lots of love and laughter, I enjoy sharing it with my 2 boys, fabulous friends and wonderful family! Time flies when you're having fun, right?!!!

Here are the highlights...the fast version of our 2010!

january
Q is staying very busy as the VP of Business Development, and he is a celeb (totally kidding)...with his picture in the paper and business journal! Mommy is still walking around a bit like a zombie, baby Griffin still doesn't want to sleep through the night.
february Nana came to visit baby Griffin and spend Amy's birthday with her. Q giving Amy some grief that she is now officially in her "late twenties"Griffin is growing like crazy and now can sit up by himself! Hooray! Mommy is finally getting a little rest, Griffin starts sleeping through the night.
march The 3 of us join some great friends for a little vacation to Crested Butte, CO..always a great time with this clan!
april Amy's spring bridal show is a great success!!
may Griffin is on the move...so now mommy is too...chasing after him that is....he is a crawler!
june it's wedding season! Quentin's sister tied the knot in a beautiful (but HOTT) outdoor ceremony, then down to Tx for Amy's cousin Tiffany's wedding in San Antonio... both beautiful brides!
july Quentin and Amy ran the Napa Valley half marathon, and were joined by several cheerleaders aka friends and spent the rest of the week sipping wine and enjoying some well deserved time off! Griffin hangs out with his Nana and Aunt Sandra back in Wichita!
august We now have a walker, and mommy just got even busier! First annual Ellis family vacation to Keystone lake! Our little fish starts swim lessons! Amy and Griffin start MAPS and both meet lots of great new friends!
september Visit from Amy's dad, and Q's chili team take 3rd place at the chili cookoff!
october Our little pumpkin turns the big 1!!! We celebrate with a pumpkin party with close family and friends. Our little monster goes trick-or-treating with his cousins for the first time!
november Amy reminds Q that he is now in his "mid-thirties" as we celebrate his 34th birthday!!! Amy's first shopportunity! Trip to Texas for Thanksgiving! Very thankful for a good little traveler!
december Visit from some of Amy's family for Christmas...such a great Christmas!!! Finished the year up with a visit to see friends to watch the bowl game, enjoyed a K-State basketball game in Manhattan then on to Council Grove to ring in the New Year with some more great friends! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We are still working on a New Years resolution! Not quite sure what that should be, but I do know that if 2011 is half as good as 2010 was, it is going to be another fabulous year!!!

So excited for all that is to come in 2011! We are looking forward to celebrating our 5th anniversary, a few fun trips planned, spending time together and with our wonderful family and friends, watching griffin continue to grow and discover new things, and to enjoy these precious moments as they come! Here's to 2011!!!

Here are a couple "shots" of our New Year's Celebration....we were having so much fun, I pretty much forgot about my camera!

Our little men, relaxin', enjoying the festivities!
Watch out ladies, they are taken ;)
