ahhhh....baby time!!!!

ahhhhhhhh....can't believe we will get to meet our little girl tomorrow!!! I am soooo excited!!! I am soaking up feeling all of her kicks and spending the morning with my cute little boy!

Baby Shower! and baby update

A few of my girlfriends threw lil sis and me a baby shower on Saturday! It was superfun! We all met up (children left behind with the hubbys) at a restaurant for lunch with some yummy carrot cake for dessert!!! And oh my goodness did sister get spoiled!!!

3 of the girls have had babies in the last 6 months so we always do a little shower for each baby...so fun!!! You can see Mr. Parker in the picture...such a handsome dude!!!

Pictured here is Krista and lil man, Mindy, Allison, Myself, Liz and Jodi!!!! Have to say I have some pretty friends!!! After Copper Oven we all went on a little shopping trip, in this pic we are in Mindy's store, Marigold Road....amazing!!! She makes and sells the most amazing accessories, wreaths and vintage items!!

thank you mindy for this A-DOR-ABLE little apron....would have LOVED to upload more of the gifts...but this is literally the only one that I don't have some crazy facial expression...lol

How cute are they...Mr. Barron got to be our little model..he is testing out sister's hat that Allison made! So cute huh...yes, the baby and the hat...and the mommy!!!

Baby update...had my last doctor appointment on Tuesday...whoo hoo!!!! There wasn't much change on the dilation effacement end, my belly did grow to 39cm... but we are still on to meet our baby girl on Tuesday!!! The closer it gets, the more I am seeming to remember about the labor I had with Griffin and the pain that goes along with it...before and after..lol...oh well, I am just reminding myself that the epidural is ready for me at my earliest convenience!!!

I am sooo in love with our baby girl's nursery...and I had so much fun doing it!!! Now we just need to bring home our little princess!!!

March madness....baby update!

Well, in the spirit of March madness....things are going to get pretty crazy around here...we set an induction date at our appointment on Tuesday for March 27th! I feel tired already...lol...just kidding...I could not be more excited!!!! Not so excited about the crazy amount of pain that comes with delivery..but I cannot wait to hold our sweet baby girl in my arms and see her daddy and big brother holding her as well!!! Excited to experience one of the best days of our lives!!!
Here is me just before typing this blog out at 37 weeks and 5 days...yowza...I was lucky to find a shirt that covers my belly...this is one of only 2 left...excluding Q's tshirts...aka, my maternity lounge wear! ;)

So our appt last week I was dilated to a 1.5 cm and 60% effaced and my belly was measuring 38 cm. This weeks I was dilated to 2 cm and 65% effaced and my belly was holding strong at 38 cm once again! So making a little progress!!! He did mention that her head was pushed more again my cervix..so that would explain the "sprained" feeling...although the dr. did tell me he has never heard of a "sprained v****a" guess that's not a medical term...lol
