Crested Butte trip 2011

Well, I FINALLY got the pics up from our Crested Butte trip! It has been a little crazy around here the last few weeks!!! Anyways....we had a great time with our friends, and it was soooo nice to get away for a few days!....even if I thought the Ellis family was falling apart on part of the trip! :) (read the last of the blog to find out why)

Here is Bella with the kiddos on our flight out to Colorado...we ended up being rushed out of Wichita a day early because of a snow storm coming to Colorado.
Here is us soooo happy to leave Wichita!!!
Couldn't help but post pics of the beautiful sunset on the trip out!
...and this one too!
...and this one too!
Griffin thought he was pretty cool wearing Daddy's helmet....anytime it was laying around, he would go put it on...and he thought he was pretty cute....so funny!
G had sooo much fun with Logan and Parker....and they had many jammie days!
He played pretty hard!!! Griffin and Daddy about to go tubing at the ski resort!

Here they come! G loved it until his little tushie hit a few bumps at the end!
Yayyy! So fun!!!
High five!
Our little ski bunnies all bundled up!
Family shot!!
Here is why the Ellis family was falling apart....aside from me being sick part of the trip (thank goodness we had Bella, because I was good for nothing for a bit ;) G had an ear infection (his first) a few days before we left and we thought he was on the mend...until about about 7 days later when he started breaking out in a rash....at first we were worried was having a reaction to the peanut butter that was in a snack that G and Daddy shared, but then after going to the clinic, found out it was a side effect of the amoxicillin he was given for his ear infection. I had a hard time believing that it wasn't an allergic reaction.....the rash became worse by the minute....but after talking with 4 doctors, they all said the same thing, (it is actually called an amoxicillin rash)....just a side effect, no allergies. Here are a few shots of it....by the time it was all said and done, it was almost solid...and bright red. Once we stopped the medicine, the rash was completely gone in just a few short days. Aside from the rash ;) we had such a fun time!!! Can't wait to go next year!!!
