Love this little face!

Now that the Christmas rush is over, hopefully I can do a better job of keeping up with my blogging! Our little boy is growing and changing so fast, i can hardly believe it... he just keeps getting cuter by the minute... thought I would post some of his latest cute shots!

Cover boy

Anyone recognize the newest cover boy for our December issue of Kids' Directory? Yep, Griffin James! We had his newborn pictures taken by my favorite photographer here in Wichita, who also happens to advertise in Kids' Directory. I am so excited about this!!!!

Time flies...

Time sure does fly by these days!!! I can't believe our little boy is already 4 weeks old! He is getting so big and he changes every day! Thought I would post a few new pics!

Splish Splash! Griffin's first bath!

Griffin wasn't so sure about this bath thing... My Grandmother gave me my first bath so Q and I thought it would be fun for my Mom to give Griffin his first bath.

Visit from cousins!

After waiting 9 long months, Rylee and Kolton finally got to meet their new little cousin! I am sure that soon enough Kolton and Rylee will be teaching our little man all kinds of new ways to cause trouble. :) Griffin is looking forward to meeting his Colorado cousins later this week!

Bringing Griffin Home

After 24 hours in the hospital, Q and I were more than ready to take our new little bundle home! He wasn't sure what to think of the car seat at first, but soon realized that this would be the perfect time to take a little nap!

Griffin James

Griffin James has arrived!!! He was born Oct. 15th at 3:11 pm weighing 9lbs and 5 oz and measuring 21 inches long! Q and I could not be more excited!!!

Q's Half Marathon

Kathy, Terry and I cheered Q on as he ran the Wichita Half Marathon last Sunday. He did awesome!! He finished 155th out of over 1000 people and he beat his goal time of 2hrs. running it in 1hour, 52 minutes! Q really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to getting back in shape, so next July we are going to Napa Valley with friends to run a half marathon together....what a good excuse to drink lots of wine and get away for a long weekend with friends!

Funky Monkey Nursery!!!

Well, the pictures came out a tiny bit dark, but you get the idea! I am sooo in love with our little man's monkey nursery! I have had the best time making all of his bedding, curtains, monkey paintings.... my mom came up a few weeks ago and helped me finish off the nursery... we upholstered the chair did a little shopping for a few finishing touches. Q was awesome and such a huge help putting ALL of the furniture together and hanging curtains and the fabric behind the crib, as well as the shelf and paintings! I just hope our little guy likes his nursery as much as we do!!!

"Daddy"

Q is putting his soon-to-be new title as "Daddy" to good use! He has been putting all kinds of baby gear together non-stop! He says that he now understands why he had to put together his own toys at Christmas...because his Dad was worn out from putting together all of the baby gear from his 3 kids. :) Q is doing an excellent job with these projects and I am lucky to have such a great husband (who is so handy)!!!

Wichita Baby Shower

Some of my wonderful girlfriends here in Wichita threw a baby shower for our little man and I at my friend Denise's gorgeous home! It was so much fun! We were given so many nice gifts and things that we will put to good use in a few weeks! My mom came to visit for a few days and was able to come to the shower with me...it was so nice to have her there!!! Q's Grandmothers, and Aunt were also able to make the trip down for the shower! Thank you all for coming! It meant so much to have so many people there that I love!
