These are a few of my favorite things...

Griffin James is changing so quickly I can hardly believe it! I just wish I could slow down the time!!! Thought I would share some of my new favorite things that Griffin James is doing... he brings huge smiles to our faces and continues to make us laugh each and every day!!! Griffin James, from the moment you were born, you turned our world upside down and we absolutely cannot imagine our lives without you!

He LOVES giving kisses!

He says momma and dada non-stop! (Which of course we LOVE!!!)

He gets soooo excited when you come to get him out of his crib each morning!

He is a little dancin' machine! Anytime he hears music he boogies!

He now runs behind his car when he is pushing it around!

He throws everything and just giggles! Which of course is adorable.... and we laugh and then he does it again!

He claps anytime he does something good and is proud of himself (like throwing something!!)

Our new favorite..This is Griffin's new face he has been making at us lately!! We can't help but laugh every time he does it! The first time he made the face was when he was frustrated with me... but now, he does it just because!!

Napa Valley!!!

Napa Valley: Good food, good friends, good JUICE!! That pretty much sums up the trip!

We have been planning this trip for quite a while with 4 other of our good friends! We had the best time!

Q and I enjoying our first day in Napa Valley touring Napa with Greg and Camie!

After a day of running, we were super excited to enjoy the wine train! 3 hours of seeing wine country while enjoying a fabulous dinner with plenty of wine!

Quentin and I stayed an extra day after our friends left, so we decided we should see a redwood forest on our way to Sausalito and San Francisco! It was beautiful!

We had such a great trip, and as much fun as we had.... we had the best reason to come home!! We missed Griffin James like crazy but knew he was in good hands with his Nana and Aunt Sandra! Thank you Mom and Aunt Sandra for taking such good care of him! He loved it as much as you!!!

Napa Valley Half Marathon!!!

Well, if Quentin and I ever needed a good excuse to go on a fun vacation....we found one!! The run was such a great experience!! The scenery was amazing... we ran through the vineyards for most of the race. The best part was the wine tasting that greeted us at the end of the run!

Here, Quentin and I went to pick up our race packets in Sonoma, it was a very trendy area with art installations everywhere and lots of cute, modern shops (which of course I loved)!!!

Happy 4th of July!!

The Ellis family had a great 4th of July (even with all of the rain)! We had out of town friends come visit on Friday, Griffin LOVED playing with them, and hanging out on the boat and out on the lake!

Griffin LOVES his friend Mackenzie!!! Are they cute or what?!

On Saturday, some of our Wichita friends stopped by with their 2 little guys Carter and Maddox! Griffin thought he was one of the big boys and couldn't wait to jump in on their wrestling match!

The evening of the 4th, we got the best fireworks show at our lake! A few of the boats tied up together as we watched! On the 5th, the weather cleared up and it was a pretty, sunny day, we took the boat out with some neighbors and Q practiced his wake surfing! Griffin even got in on the fun and was driving the boat around!! We definitely have a "lake kid"!!!

Griffin is a growin' boy!!!

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do!! Life keeps our family very busy these days! Griffin is crawling and is into everything these days! At 8 1/2 months old, I just don't know where all of the time has gone!! He just started saying "Momma" which I of course love! You can't help but want to squeeze him when he looks up at you with his big toothy grin and says "Momma"!!! Love it!!!!

Our little guy loves music!! He just learned to dance from his little friend Caroline, and will clap when the music is playing! So cute!!!

He is such a friendly little man! He "talks" to everyone, loves to play, and is definitely a flirt!!!

Ellis Family goes to Tx!

My cousin Tiffany got married this past weekend in San Antonio so Griffin and I decided to spend an extra week in Texas and Quentin met us down there a few days later. It was a great trip! We spent lots of time with all of my friends, went on a few shopping trips and of course spent a fare share of our time at the pool!

We have a little fish on our hands! Griffin LOVES the water and LOVES to swim! He would dunk his head under water, blow bubbles, splash, and as soon as his legs hit the water, he would kick kick kick!

Wedding Bells!

Quentin's sister Bryn made a beautiful Bride on June 5th! She had her wedding at their parents home, it was a gorgeous setting and the wedding couldn't have been any better!
